Eye Palace ("Eye Palace", "we", "us") is the social website at eyepalace.live. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email us at eyepalacesupport@gmail.com or use our Contact page.

• Account information — your email address, password (stored only in hashed form by our sign-in provider), username, display name and date of birth. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
• Profile information — anything you add to your profile, such as a profile picture, quote, mood, theme, background and privacy settings.
• Content you create — posts, photos, videos (Scenes), comments, reactions, captions, tags, group posts, drafts and scheduled posts, and live video when you go On Air (including recordings saved to your drafts).
• Messages — the messages, photos and files you send in private and group chats.
• Connections — friend requests, friendships, the people you block, groups you join and suggestions you dismiss.
• Reports and support requests — reports you make about content or accounts, and the name, email address and message you send us through the Help or Contact form.

• Activity on Eye Palace — for example when you were last active, which chats you've read, notifications you've seen, and views of videos and live shows (including how long a video was watched). We use this to run features like unread counts, "online" status, view counts and recommendations.
• Technical information — like most websites, the services that host Eye Palace receive information your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the time of your request, and may keep it in security and server logs.
• Cookies and similar technologies — see "Cookies" below and our Cookie Policy.

• To create and run your account and show your content to the people you choose.
• To deliver messages, notifications, live video and the other features you use.
• To suggest people you may know and show relevant posts on Home.
• To keep Eye Palace safe: confirming members are 18 or older, preventing spam and abuse, reviewing reports, and enforcing our Terms & Conditions, including suspensions.
• To answer your support requests and contact you about your account.
• To understand and improve how the site works.
• To show advertising, as described below, and to measure how ads perform.
• To meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

Your privacy settings control who can see your profile and posts. Public posts can be seen by anyone on Eye Palace and may appear on Home for other members. Messages are visible to the people in the conversation. Live shows are visible to the audience you choose when you go On Air. Eye Palace administrators can access content when needed to review reports, investigate abuse, restore accounts or keep the service running.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Eye Palace:

• Lovable and Supabase — host the website, database, file storage and sign-in system.
• LiveKit — carries live audio and video for On Air shows.
• Resend — delivers Help and Contact form messages and account emails (such as your welcome email).
• PostHog — analytics and session recordings, only if you allow analytics cookies (see "Analytics" below).
• Google — provides "Sign in with Google" if you choose to use it, and, where we show ads, Google AdSense (see below).

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the safety of our members or others, or as part of a transfer of the service to a new owner.

Eye Palace may display advertising served by Google AdSense, a service of Google LLC. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to Eye Palace and/or other sites on the internet.

• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
• On Eye Palace, advertising cookies are off until you allow them. You can change your choice any time in Cookie Settings. If you don't allow them, any ads shown to you are non-personalised.
• Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage) for things that are strictly necessary — keeping you signed in, remembering where the Back button should go, and remembering your cookie choices. With your permission, optional cookies can also be used for analytics and advertising. Details and controls are in our Cookie Policy.

If you allow analytics cookies, Eye Palace uses PostHog to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. PostHog records page views, the buttons and links you click, how far you scroll (shown to us as heatmaps), and session recordings of how you move around the site.

• Everything you type is hidden in recordings.
• Private pages — your messages, account settings and password reset — are never recorded.
• If you're signed in, your activity is linked to your account by an anonymous ID only (not your name or email address).

Analytics only runs after you allow it in the cookie notice or Cookie Settings, and you can turn it off at any time there.

We keep your information while your account is open. If you deactivate your account, your profile and content are hidden but kept, so you can restore everything by signing back in. If you delete your account, your profile, posts, photos, friendships and messages are removed; for 30 days afterward the account can still be restored by an administrator if you contact us, and after that it is deleted for good. Some records, such as moderation and security logs, may be kept longer where needed for safety or legal reasons.

We use industry-standard protections, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, hashed passwords, and database access rules that limit each member to the information they're allowed to see. Changing your email address or password requires confirmation. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and never share it — we will never ask you for it.

• Edit your profile, privacy settings and notification settings at any time.
• Delete individual posts, photos and messages you've sent (messages can be unsent).
• Block people so they can't contact you or see your page.
• Deactivate or permanently delete your account in Settings.
• Change your cookie choices in Cookie Settings.
• Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing eyepalacesupport@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we'll respond to requests as the law requires.

Eye Palace is only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, please tell us at eyepalacesupport@gmail.com and we will remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll let members know on Eye Palace.
